Welcome to this week’s updates throughout the CHL. and along with posts from the OHL, WHL and the QMJHL, will be bringing you all your Junior Hockey coverage on a weekly report.

Enjoy the fast pace action of your favorite league and keep an eye on your favorite junior player and your top teams in the CHL.

So let’s get it going on this September 30th, starting off in the OHL.

Well after week 1 it looked like the same ‘ol story coming out of the Western Conference with the London Knights leading the way with a couple of wins and doing it with 16 goals for, while the Kitchener Rangers weren’t too far behind either. Will make an interesting match up already come Friday as this two clubs go head to head.

In the Eastern Conference there is some surprising starts from some clubs who struggled all last year. The Frontenacs of Kingston have gotten off to a good start along with the Oshawa Generals and the ‘new’ but ‘old’ team in the GTA that being the Mississauga Steelheads (formerly the St.Michaels Majors) have also gotten off to a good start to their season.

Going into week 2 there was some battles already brewing in both conferences. Check out all the action at: OHL Action

What a great weekend in the ‘O’ wasn’t it? No love loss there between some teams! Now lets swing over to our neighbouring province, Quebec and check their action in the QMJHL.

As the week began for the ‘Q’ league, teams were already drawing up there matches for the season ahead but there is one thing that’s been stuck in everyone’s mind was, who is the next best player?

There was serious doubt going into this new season that the Quebec league could put out another ‘Super-Star’ like they have done in the past but as UHS has dug deeper don’t be surprised to see this ‘young gun’ raising a few eyebrows as the season wears on, check it out!

Top Rookie in the QMJHL?

It seems every season there is at least one or two players coming out of Quebec who can do no wrong, that is so exciting for the league and the fans who follow.

Now lets catch the next train to out West and catch up on the playing action of the ‘Big Boys’ in the WHL!

When UHS looks out to the west and checks up on the teams that do so much travelling we all wonder how the heck these guys do it? Bus trip after bus trip, hours spent in the rinks seem to be endless but the players seem to be able to do it week in, week out. Even one rookie player from last season had said, he didn’t mind, ‘He was living the Dream’. Well that explains it all doesn’t it?

Lets take a look at this weeks past action-

WHL Sunday Round Up

Well that about wraps up the past week in the CHL. Hope you were able to catch a game or two in your local area. It’s great action with the stars of the future, you won’t want to miss out!
