Welcome to another edition of UHS Goes Top Shelf with all your CHL hockey. Updates across Canada in all the three junior leagues, postings from the OHL, QMJHL and the WHL, so lets get it going!

Going into the 3rd week of play we see there were some milestones that were happening. From the Sudbury Wolves and Toronto Maple Leafs prospect, Josh Leivo was named OHL Player of the Week. Leivo helped his team to 3 straight wins on the road and helped himself to a +5 plus-minus rating. Going south of the border in Plymouth the Whales head coach Mike Vellucci won his 400th career win, which happens to be the franchise record now and Coach Mike ranks 3rd in active coaches in the OHL.Lets check out some other action that was happening in week 3 in the OHL.

That was some great hockey this past week played in the ‘O’ but UHS knows there is some great action happening in the QMJHL so lets move on over and find out!

Great news coming out of the ‘Q’ league as all teams have taken Aim at the Fight Against Cancer – along with Telus Communications. So check your local team to find out when their fundraiser game takes place.

Now lets go to The Plays of The Week – So Exciting – So Powerfull – So ‘Q’.

Like UHS says ‘So Exciting’ – ‘So Powerfull – ‘So Q’ some awesome moves and saves going on there. Great stuff!

Onward and upward and off to the west we go. Lets catch up to the ‘Wild West’ and the WHL and see what all the action is happening.

Checking out the Western action we see that there is already some movement of players and draft picks happening. The main player in these tranactions are the Tri City Americans. The GM of the Americans have moved over-aged vet Jordan Messier to the Moose Jaw Warriors in exchange for a 4th round draft pick in the 2014 Bantam Draft. Then coming soon after that move the same Americans acquired 17 year old Ryan Chyroweth from the Everett Silvertips in exchanged for a 5th round draft pick in the same Bantam Draft 2014. As UHS was going to print there was rumblings that the Americans were at it again with another move, details to follow.

Lets check out the rest of the WHL and all the action for this past week.

Another great week of CHL junior hockey action across Canada, it seems to be getting better every week!
